Affirmations

Hey there you beautiful, awesome, magical being!  I hope that you are having an amazing day, an amazing week, and an amazing month!  Let’s talk about affirmations, shall we?

I personally like to start and end everyday with affirmations.  You may be wondering what the heck are affirmations?  Well, I’m glad you asked.  Affirmations are short, simple, positive statements and although they are rather basic, they are quite empowering and can have profound effects on the conscious and subconscious mind.  I enjoy speaking life and positivity into not only myself, but into others, because let’s face it, we can all benefit from hearing something positive.  It is a necessary part of self-care. 

So let’s try a few. I want you to read out loud the following affirmations and see how you feel:

  • I am connected to divine wisdom

  • I am divinely blessed

  • I am amazing

  • I am grateful

  • I am healthy

  • I am financially free

  • I am living a life of abundance and prosperity

  • I am intelligent

  • I am joyful

  • I am magical

  • I trust my intuition

Now breathe.  Inhale. Exhale.  How do you feel?  You honestly may feel nothing.  In fact, you likely feel the same as you did five minutes ago.  This was me too.  When I first started doing affirmations, it felt strange, but I just kept with it, and the more I did them, the more natural they became like second nature.  And let’s face it, you will never go wrong speaking positivity over yourself and to yourself.   You will be amazed at what a little positive self-talk can do for you.  Speaking sweet words to yourself is good for your bones and your soul. 

So go ahead, practice those affirmations.  They can be anything that you want.  Just keep doing it, and remember, you are a magical being who has the ability to accomplish and achieve anything that you want!  You can reach any goal that you set for yourself.
