Don’t Force It

Never force anyone to stay in your life.  Many people do not realize how dope you are, and in all honesty, you don’t have anything to prove to them either.  If they want to leave, let them leave.  Just continue being you and let your light shine through and if they don’t see it, then so be it.

If someone wants to leave because they think that the grass is greener on the other side, let them pursue that.  Take your ego out of it.  Understandably, it may hurt a bit, especially if this is someone you want or thought you wanted.  Perhaps you had plans with this person, could see a future with them and so on, but them leaving could also be a blessing in disguise because they are showing you exactly who they are.

If they want to leave, then let go.  At some point, trust and believe that nine times out of ten, they will realize how truly amazing you were and still are, and may even try to come back.  Unfortunately for them, it will be too late.  If they did not see you in all of your glory and amazingness then, do not allow them to see you in all of your glory and awesomeness now.  They can watch from afar.

Oftentimes, God will remove certain people from your life, and initially you may not see the blessing in disguise of that removal.  But he already knows they are not the one for you whether it be a romantic relationship, platonic friendship, business partnership, and so on.  The best part about them leaving is that they are stepping aside and allowing the right person to come into your life.  Anything forced, will usually break anyway.

Ultimately, just remember, never try to force anyone to stay with you.  You will be overlooked by some and that is alright.  They will want to get close to you as you blossom into the star you were born to be.  Do not try to force them to see your worth or your value, as it will never work.  As long as you see it within yourself, that is all that matters.  Any hurt that you feel upon their departure will decrease over time, but imagine the pain of trying to force someone to stay?  Anything that is meant to be will never have to be forced.
